Supporting the military

Juliette is proud to be both a serving member of Her Majesty's Armed Forces and a core supporter of her associated industries. She has served for many years in the Honourable Artillery Company and is seen here as a recruit. She is backing the move to increase the reserves by 30,000 and is seen here at a recruiting event with a former colleague, but not at the cost of the loss of key Regiments before the recruitment plan come to fruition.

Strong, robust national defence

Juliette representing the United Kingdom on an NGAP Next generation of Leaders Advisory Panel with the former Head of EUCOM and operational head of NATO Admiral James Stavridis. The inaugral meeting was held at the Munich Secrurity conference in 2010.

Save our post offices & community assets

Juliette is fully behind our Conservative save our post offices campaign and a supporter of the recent sucessful privatisation of the Royal Mail. She is hoping that the move will allow local services, supported by their local communites to thrive. She is also fully behind communities that want to save their local public houses, many of which have been forced to close as a result of supermarket led alcohol price cuts.

Welfare that works

Juliette Ash welcomes delegates to the Centre for Social Justice's inuagural alliance conference. She says "Mending our broken society should be at the heart of responsible Conservatives and I want to continue my role in restoring and effective welfare system. Helping others to help themselves whilst providing an humane safety net for the most vulnerable rather than state handouts as standard. I support the work of the Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith and want to ensure that our welfare reforms are implemented successfully."

Protect our NHS

Juliette has worked formerly with her Conservative colleagues in the National Assembly to ensure the Labour-Plaid Cymru Assembly Government delivers the best possible local healthcare. She is now strongly supportive of ringfenced funding for our NHS and the excellent provision of additional funding for cancer treatments now available under this Government. The addition of nearly 6000 more doctors and 6000 fewer managers is welcome news.
