Infrastructure must be provided for any new housing

Although planning is regulated and monitored by our district Cllrs, Juliette supports the development of a moderate number of well planned new homes for our communities.

She is very keen to ensure that local communities that accept new houses get the associated infrastructure they need to support them as this is not always the case and creates unnecessary issues for residents.

New and sufficient provision of appropriate:

-rail

-cycle paths and road access alongside

-sufficient school places,

-new drainage & sewage systems and

-access to healthcare

Should always be considered and delivered where possible.

Juliette is for also for regulation that supports building on brownfield rather than new greenfield sites wherever possible.

All new homes should be as environmentally friendly, sustainable and in keeping with the local area as possible.

High quality local accessible jobs should be part of the considerate planning approach.
