I am campaigning to gain swimmer friendly status for the river Thames.
Gaining swimmer friendly status for this portion of the Thames in Kingston and Cumnor division will also bring about and support campaigns to improve the water quality of the Thames river in the whole of Oxfordshire.
The health and wellbeing benefits are very clear and the pandemic has highlighted the natural beauty on our doorstep here in Oxfordshire. We don't have easy access to beaches so this is something we can all do for fellow residents for everyone to enjoy.
